Cutting drum reducer of AM-50 Heading Machine 132kW

Power reducer with a power of 132kW and a rate ratio – 16,6 is designed for cutting heads drive of the AM-50 heading machine.

It is a 3-stage toothed reducer with a counter gear in which the first stage is composed of two bevel and arc gear wheels, whereas the second and third stage – cylindrical transmission. The body of the reducer is made of alloy cast steel. The reducer is fixed via a flange to an electric motor. At cylidrical endings of the outpu shaft, cutting heads are clamped via conical clamping rings.
